Deptford Design Challenge was curated and designed by Raw Nerve with consultant curator Catherine McDermott. Raw Nerve is a creative agency based in Deptford. We move effortlessly from one platform to another, working as bespoke teams to provide clients with relevant, creative and intelligent ideas and responses. United by a passion for design we believe that the key to success lies in immersing yourself in contemporary culture. We understand how what you wear, read, watch and listen to, communicates who you are. It is this inherent awareness of the attitudes that shape modern trends, that enables us to engage with audiences on their own terms and help you reach them in the most appropriate, informed and effective ways.

The London Design Festival is now in its fifth year and has become a fixture on the international creative calendar. With over 200 projects and audiences of 300,000 it has quickly become one of the most important design events in the world. The Festival is an umbrella brand and works in partnership with a wide network of organisations and individuals. They range from museums and retailers, to educational institutes, creative businesses, trade shows, magazines, designers and international cities.

The Festival mirrors the uniquely diverse nature of London’s design scene, which has an unparalleled breadth and depth compared with other international cities. Meanwhile, the number of international projects in the Festival continues to grow, ensuring its global relevance and reputation. The Festival is still a young event. It continues to develop and evolve, creating new networks, stimulating growth in the sector, increasing the opportunities for trade, and enhancing the reputation of London and the UK as a place for creative excellence and innovation.
